AMCUK Alaskan Malamute Rescue

AMCUK Rescue
Scruff is proud to introduce a new friend - AMCUK, the only Kennel Club recognised Alaskan Malamute Club in the UK.  Formed in 1964 by a small group of enthusiasts to promote Malamutes in a positive light, AMCUK has flourished greatly, and continues to work arduously to rescue, rehome and educate Malamutes, owners and the public.
AMCUK is run soley by volunteers, and relies on generous donations from the public.

In aid of a planned fundraising Fun Day scheduled for 7th April 2012 at Strathclyde Country Park, Scruff MacDuff have donated a West Paw dog jacket towards the AMCUK raffle, so for one lucky Malamute there is a jacket to keep him/her warm and dry in the new year.

To learn more about AMCUK Alaskan Malamute Rescue view their video below, or visit their website - AMCUK Alaskan Malamute Rescue.

In the video you will see Malamutes swimming with a float (life) jacket for dogs, and pulling bikes.  Scruff MacDuff offer float jackets on their site, and the Omnijore Joring system (the 'pulling harness') is available on special order.
