Introducing Sam Parker from Nottingham -
"Sam is a very clever 3 year old pooch, we do not allow him upstairs and
we have a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs to keep him on the ground
floor level. Thus he has not been trained to climb stairs or come back
down them. Suddenly last week whilst my husband and I were on our
computers upstairs we heard this banging noise and thump thump thump, we
both looked out of our office doors at the same time and who should be
on the landing....yes....Sam, his tail wagging and a smile on his face
like ' I am a clever dog'. He went into all the bedrooms and jumped on
the beds, he was so excited about being up stairs...where he should not
be. He soon got bored and sat at the top of the stairs wanting to go
down. So my husband had to carry him down. We locked the gate. Then
two days later I was upstairs on the computer and who should appear in
my room but Sam. We now have to lock the gate whenever we go
upstairs, and this morning at breakfast he was trying to unlock the gate to get to us, I am sure he will sus the lock out as he is a very clever boy."
